Nothing you audit ever leaves your browser. The single exception is the email address you choose to enter if you subscribe, which is sent to our licence endpoint to check whether your subscription is active.
When you run an audit, Signoff reads the content and computed styles of the page you are auditing in order to test it against WCAG success criteria. This happens entirely inside your browser. The page content is never uploaded.
Audit results, the addresses of the pages you audited, and any firm name, client name or logo you enter for the report are stored using the browser's local extension storage on your own machine. None of it is transmitted. You can clear all of it at any time by removing the extension.
If you subscribe and enter your email address to unlock Pro, that address is
sent to signoff-billing.netlify.app so we can ask Stripe whether it
has an active subscription. The answer is yes or no. We do not store the address
on any server, and it is not used for anything else — no mailing list, no
analytics, no profiling.
Payment is handled entirely by Stripe on Stripe's own checkout page. Your card details never touch this extension or our servers. Stripe receives your email and payment details under their privacy policy; we only ever ask them a single yes-or-no question about subscription status.
There are none. The extension makes no tracking requests of any kind.
